Zerca is the new private label of Grupo Ramos, a well-known supermarket chain in the Dominican Republic. This brand is committed to meet the needs of its customers through simplicity and affordability.
One of the unique features of the Zerca logo is the modified "Z" letter, to also resemble the symbol "%". This subtle design element adds an extra layer of meaning to the logo, reinforcing the brand's commitment to offering the lowest prices on the market.
For the packaging design I also took a clean and minimalistic approach by using simple typography and a monochromatic palette to create a cohesive look across all of the products. The design is easy to adapt and can be used on a wide range of products, from household essentials to food items.
